KIEV vs. KYIV

Yes, this is the same - this is the one city, the capital of Ukraine and there are  Ukrainian and Russian spellings. Most Westerners will be more used KIEV, but you can find also KYIV in most of Ukrainian publishings. And both of them: KIEV and KYIV are correct, of cause.
